FULL NAME Monkey D. Luffy
AGE Maybe 18 or 19, don't quote me on this

ORIENTATION Demisexual, biromantic
APPEARANCE 5′6″, skinny, all limbs. Lots of dark curly hair, warm brown skin with a few little moles, and big brown eyes. Has a scar on his left cheek, right under his eye
VOICE Bright, chirpy, friendly. Has an accent.
CLOTHING It's extremely rare to see him without his hat, made of yellow straw with a red band. He cares about that thing more than pretty much anything else. Besides that, he's usually wearing denim capris and some brightly coloured shirt or another.

DEMEANOR Very expressive and excitable, always positive and upbeat except when he's angry, in which case he's really angry. Always feels emotions to the extreme; when he's feeling something, you can see it on his face. Loves to yell, whoop, hoot and holler.

GENERAL I'm only familiar with the live action Netflix series at this point. I might be able to do a bit of googlefu and read a few wikis and would be happy to do so, but please be lenient if I make some mistakes here and there!
BACKTAGGING Always! I function by backtagging so I understand if things get picked up and dropped here and there, or we can definitely handwave a thread if it's dragging on too long for you.
THREADHOPPING If it's (non-private) texting/network conversations, it's almost always fine, but I'd prefer if you asked first if it was a log thread.
FOURTHWALLING ...Honestly, sure. Luffy would love to know he's the protagonist of a TV show. He probably wouldn't take any discussion of it very seriously, though – but even so, I'd prefer if you avoid major canon spoilers from his future via the manga/anime.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS I would really appreciate warnings for footage (specifically video) of car accidents, including in fiction. Besides that, I'm not really bothered by most content, especially in writing. General rule of thumb: I'm okay with almost everything as long as you warn me about the particularly egregious stuff first.
